Wobble ("we", "our", "us") is an English language practice app that connects users for live audio conversations and provides an AI conversation partner. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
To create practice reports, calls may be recorded, the recording is transcribed into text, and the text is analyzed by automated and AI systems to assess your spoken English. By starting a call, you consent to this recording, transcription, and analysis. You can avoid this by not using the calling features.
The AI conversation partner is powered by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI). When you use it, your microphone audio and the conversation are sent to that provider in real time to generate responses. Your speech may also be transcribed and analyzed to produce a practice report.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate Wobble:
Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. By using Wobble you understand that your data, including call audio and transcripts, may be transferred to and processed in other countries.
The app requests microphone permission solely to enable audio calls and the AI conversation partner. Microphone access is only active during an active call session.
Your account data is retained as long as you use the app. Practice reports and transcripts are retained so you can access them, until you delete your account. Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed.
You may request deletion of your Wobble account and all associated data at any time by emailing workpav17@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We will delete your account, including your email address, language level, call history, recordings, transcripts, reports, and chat messages, within 30 days of your request.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. The legal bases for our processing are your consent (for call recording, transcription, and AI processing) and the performance of our contract with you (to provide the service). Wobble is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
